What we do

WHAT WE DO

Established in 2020 with the goal of addressing the lack of proper menstrual health and sanitary towels, in rural communities among girls in schools, especially in the rural parts of the country, Nkundezhi World Project has continuously sought ways of improving the lives of girls and women in Zambia.

Our Vision

A society where all children and women enjoy secure, healthy, enlightened lives.

Our Mission

NWP endeavors to unleash the potential of disadvantaged women and their children to succeed in life through providing health care, education, livelihood skills and community development services. Child and gender development are fundamental to our work.

HOW WE WORK

We know that to bring about lasting change, we need to work together – make connections, use our influence, use our skills and creativity and raise funds. Once we’ve got a plan of action and something to say, it’s vital to spread the word and inspire others to act. So we focus our work on five key functions:

01.

— We Educate

concertize and create awareness among the people in poor communities on menstrual hygiene and encourage them for active participation in Health Training Programs.

02.

— We Fund

Working with respected partners and donors, we seek out and support impactful projects by mobilising funds and ensuring the most effective return on investment.

03.

— We Amplify

Together, as contributors to the global women’s movement, we bring attention to important issues, amplifying the voices of disempowered women.

04.

— Raising Sanitary Towels

Under this program we raise awareness and help  young Girls not to miss school during their menstrual cycle by Raising Sanitary Towels for Children in the Rural Communities.

05.

— Community Outreach

This program is designed to mobilize and strengthen communities to come together and be the vanguards and agents of change by ensuring an increase in the number of children that transit to secondary schools in their communities.
